Ningxia Golden Fortune Sheep Industry Co., Ltd. is a private-owned enterprise founded by scientific and technological personnel. It was established in 2003 and invested 12 million RMB to build a standardized halal mutton slaughtering, cutting, and packaging production line and a 1,500-ton cold storage. In 2006, the provincial government of Ningxia recognized the company as a "leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization management.”

It is a leading enterprise in agricultural industrialization in Ningxia province as part of regional science and technology entrepreneurship action. The "Cold Fresh Mutton Cutting and Processing Specifications" and "Cold Fresh Beef Cutting and Processing Specifications" jointly compiled by the company and IFST-CAAS (Institute of Food Science and Technology-Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences) were recognized as national industry standards (NY1564-2007, NY1565-2007). In 2008, the company invested 6.35 million RMB to build a standardized mutton fattening farm with a stock size of 3,000 sheep.

In the same year, it passed the halal lamp and beef export certification to the UAE. It was the first batch of companies that obtained the certificate, and the only one in Ningxia province that year. In 2013, with the support of China`s "going globally" policy, the company became the first livestock enterprise in Ningxia to enter the African market. In 2014, with the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of China, the company undertook the construction and operation of the Animal-husbandry Technology Demonstration Center aided by China in Mauritania. The project was selected in the "A Bright Shared Future" Belt and Road Story Series (Fourth Series) as a representative case.

宁夏金福来羊产业有限公司是一家由科技人员创办的民营股份制企业，成立于2003年，投资1200万元建设标准化清真肉羊屠宰分割包装生产线1条，1500吨冷库1座，于2006年被自治区政府认定为“农业产业化经营龙头企业”，是自治区农业产业化龙头企业和自治区科技创业行动“月亮型企业”。

企业与中国农科院农产品加工研究所联合编制的《冷鲜羊肉分割加工规范》和《冷鲜牛肉分割加工规范》被认定为国家行业标准（NY1564-2007，NY1565-2007）。企业于2008年在平罗县高庄乡投资635万元建设标准化肉羊育肥场，存栏规模为3000只，并于同年通过对清真牛羊肉阿联酋出口认证，是宁夏首批也是该年唯一获此认证的企业。

企业于2013年，在国家“走出去”政策的支持下成为宁夏首批走进非洲的畜牧业企业，并于2014年经商务部合作局批准，承担中国援毛里塔尼亚畜牧业技术示范中心的建设与运营任务，该项目被选入中国对外援助典型项目名录，并列入《共同梦想》一带一路故事丛书（第四辑）。

企业主要经营内容分为国内外两大板块，国内经营范围包括：肉羊养殖与繁育、肉羊屠宰与分割、清真羊肉类预制品加工。国外主要从事：奶肉牛养殖与育种、农牧业技术咨询、农牧业相关项目的一体化项目“交钥匙”工程，其中包含农田基本建设（土地准备与水利工程）、标准化养殖场建设、农牧产品生产线与加工线建设等。
