We achieved Mauritania’s first successful embryo transfer case of purebred Holstein cows using local Zebu cattle as surrogate mothers. 

With the technology of AI and IVF, our purebreds of Montbelier and Holstein and their crossbred F1 and F2 generations have shown high adaptability to the local environment and stable performance. In 2025, Jersey cattle genes will be introduced to carry out 3-way and 4-way cross-breed experiments.

We aim to: Breed a new race of high-yield dairy/meat cows in Mauritania with heat-resistant genes, suitable for local conditions, roughage resistance, and high disease resistance.

成功实现了毛里塔尼亚第一例，以当地瘤牛为“代孕妈妈”的纯种荷斯坦奶牛胚胎移植。人工授精总成功率达到85%，胚胎移植受胎率则达到45%，通过胚胎移植及人工授精繁育的荷斯坦与蒙比利亚纯种及杂交一代和二代奶牛对当地环境适应度高且表现稳定，将于2025年引进娟姗牛基因，开展三元及四元杂交试验，致力于培育出具有耐热基因、适宜当地条件、耐粗饲、抗病性高、遗传性能稳定的高产奶肉牛品种。
